“That the Chief Executive write to the NTA and Iarnród Éireann in relation to the DART timetable, to request that, in their next timetable review, they increase the frequency of trains at weekends to address the situation experienced in the summer months at coastal stations in the Howth/Malahide Area e.g. long waits for trains, overcrowded station platforms and overcrowded trains, and to invite them to meet with this Committee before the next revision of the timetable.”

The Motion, in the name of Councillor D. Healy, was proposed by Councillor D. Healy and seconded by Councillor E. O’Brien.

The report by the Chief Executive, which had been circulated, was CONSIDERED and the Motion was AGREED.
