“That the Chief Executive carry out an assessment of the junction at Palmer Road and Palmer Avenue in Rush with a view to considering the provision of a pedestrian crossing at this location in next year's Works Programme given the number of children crossing the road to access schools and other amenities at this busy junction with poor sight lines resulting in difficulties for motorists trying to see oncoming traffic from Palmer Avenue onto Palmer Road.”

The attached Motion in the name of Councillor Johnston was proposed by Councillor Johnston, seconded by Councillor M. Boland. 

The attached report by the Chief Executive, which had been circulated, was CONSIDERED.
