“That the Chief Executive takes into consideration that in all Part 8 housing developments where a crèche or childcare facility is proposed, it shall be a condition of the planning permission, that the developer must ensure the facility is fully operational and a qualified operator is secured, prior to the occupation of residential units, and that this requirement shall be incorporated into the planning conditions and enforced through phased development or occupancy restrictions to ensure that childcare infrastructure is delivered in tandem with housing and not deferred or omitted post-construction.”

The motion, in the name of Councillor M. Boland was proposed by Councillor M. Boland and seconded by Councillor J. Walsh.
