Following discussion, the presentation was NOTED.

“That the Chief Executive provide a full detailed report of lands around Malahide Road, Kinsealy Lane, Chapel Road, Station Road that are required in order to provide adequate footpaths/safe routes to schools and the preferred routes for greenways.”

The Motion, in the name of Councillor J. Hopkins, was proposed by Councillor J. Hopkins and seconded by Councillor C. Haughey.

The report by the Chief Executive, which had been circulated, was CONSIDERED.

Mr. Hugo van Wyk, Senior Executive Engineer; Transport and Infrastructure Department read the report into the record.

It was AGREED to bring this item back as a headed item in September 2026 under “Kinsealy to Portmarnock Walking and Cycling Scheme”.
