“That this Council writes to the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to recommend that the Minister brings forward a legislative amendment, such that, land which has planning permission for residential development, and which is currently used for car parking, would no longer be exempt from the Residential Zoned Land Tax.”

The motion, in the name of Councillor D. Healy was proposed by Councillor D. Healy and seconded by Councillor B. McDonagh.

Following discussion, the Mayor instructed that a roll call vote be taken on this motion and on a division the voting resulted as follows:

The Mayor then declared the motion PASSED.
