“To ask the Chief Executive what progress has been made in relation to this motion agreed by this Committee in December 2016:

“That this Area Committee recommends that a major upgrade of Claremont Beach be included in the Capital Programme to include:
· renovation or replacement of the public toilets;
· renovation of the access from the West Pier, provision of a boardwalk along the railway line from the end of the concrete promenade, and;
· provision of access from the boardwalk to Claremont Road, with a view to achieving a Blue Flag for the Beach?”
