The attached report by the Chief Executive which had been circulated was CONSIDERED.

It was proposed by Councillor B. Hanaphy, seconded by Councillor M. Quinn:

“That Councillor Angela Donnelly be appointed to the Blanchardstown Local Drug and Alcohol Task Force.”

It was then proposed by Councillor G. Sheehan, seconded by Councillor P. Quinlan:

“That Councillor Ellen Troy be appointed to the Blanchardstown Local Drug and Alcohol Task Force.”

It was then proposed by Councillor T. O’Leary, seconded by Councillor L. Corkery:

“That Councillor Ted Leddy be appointed to the Blanchardstown Local Drug and Alcohol Task Force.”

Following discussions, it was AGREED to obtain confirmation from the committee to confirm acceptance of three members to the committee.

Following further discussion it was AGREED to appoint the three nominees.

The Mayor then DECLARED Councillors Angela Donnelly, Ellen Troy and Ted Leddy be appointed as members to the Blanchardstown Local Drug and Alcohol Task Force.

It was AGREED to DEFER this item to the July meeting of the County Council pending clarification on membership.
