The attached report by the Chief Executive which had been circulated was CONSIDERED. 

The Mayor informed the members the membership of the Committee be confined to two members of the Howth Malahide Area Committee and two members from Rush Lusk Electoral Area.

It was proposed by Councillor T. O’Leary, seconded by Councillor L. Corkery:

“That Councillor Eoghan Dockrell be appointed to the Malahide Castle and Newbridge House Ltd.”

It was then proposed by Councillor J. Walsh, seconded by Councillor M. McCamley:

“That Councillor Corina Johnston be appointed to the Malahide Castle and Newbridge House Ltd.”

It was then proposed by Councillor J. Hopkins, seconded by Councillor D. Mulligan:

“That Councillor Paul Mulville be appointed to the Malahide Castle and Newbridge House Ltd.”

It was proposed by Councillor E. O’Brien, seconded by Councillor E. Carbone-Mangan:

“That Councillor Cathal Haughey be appointed to the Malahide Castle and Newbridge House Ltd.”

It was proposed by Councillor C. Haughey, seconded by Councillor D. Butler:

“That Councillor Eoghan O’Brien be appointed to the Malahide Castle and Newbridge House Ltd.”

Following discussions, Councillor P. Mulville withdrew his nomination.

The Mayor then DECLARED Councillors Eoghan Dockrell, Corina Johnston, Cathal Haughey and Eoghan O’Brien be appointed as members to the Malahide Castle and Newbridge House Ltd.

It was proposed by Councillor K. Dennison, seconded by Councillor T. O’Leary and AGREED:

“That Councillor Anthony Lavin be appointed to Malahide Castle and Newbridge House Ltd.”.
