Councillors P. Mulville and J. Hopkins - Extension of Zebra Crossing Pilot Scheme

“That this Council calls for the Minister for Transport to immediately open up and extend the pilot scheme for the provision of zebra crossings without the flashing orange Belisha beacon lights, currently only in place for Dún Laoghaire and Limerick, so that every Local Authority who wishes to, including Fingal County Council, can take part in the scheme and pilot a few locations for study in their own respective functional areas.”

The motion, in the name of Councillor P. Mulville was proposed by Councillor P. Mulville and seconded by Councillor J. Hopkins.

 

Following discussion, the motion was AGREED.
