“That this Committee calls on the Chief Executive to significantly increase the available funding for the purchase of tenant occupied properties from private landlords and to increase the number of additional emergency accommodation spaces available in the County as a matter of urgency in the context of the Government recently lifting the eviction ban which will inevitably result in an increase in families and individuals being made homeless.”

The motion in the name of Councillor Burtchaell was proposed by Councillor Burtchaell and seconded by Councillor Treacy.
