Motion from Councillor Ann Graves: Domestic Waste Collection - Public Ownership. AI089598

Meeting: 08/05/2023 - County Council (Item 213)

Councillors A. Graves, A. Donnelly, B. Hanaphy, N. Treacy - Domestic Waste Collection - Public Ownership

“To call on this Council to take Domestic Waste collection back in to public ownership, the public deserves a 21st Century Waste Management Service that is fit for purpose and not a service simply driven by profit, beginning with exploring options on the re-municipalisation of Fingal’s Domestic Waste Collection services, by setting up a cross-party group similar to that established in Dublin City Council.”
