“That this Council makes an order preventing the erection and retention of temporary dwellings at the specified land at the Thornton Hall Direct Provision site under local councillors' reserved function number 39, as outlined under Section 31 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act 1948, as well as Schedule 3 of the Local Government Reform Act 2014.”

The motion, in the name of Councillor P. Quinlan was proposed by Councillor  P. Quinlan.

As the motion was not seconded, the motion was not put to the Council.

“That the Chief Executive authorises a review of the current number of lifeguards on Fingal beaches to determine if there is a need to increase numbers, to ensure that swimmers and visitors feel safe when they visit our beaches or go swimming.”

The motion, in the name of Councillor JK. Onwumereh was proposed by Councillor  JK. Onwumereh and seconded by Councillor B. McDonagh.

Following a discussion, the report was ACCEPTED.
