“That the Chief Executive, noting that there are a number of vacant commercial premises in the Tyrrelstown town centre and in particular the former Jack O’Neill’s Public House which has been empty for many years, bring forward a plan that the Council acquire or rent some of these premises in order to provide much needed youth and community facilities for the area, especially given the closure of community centre and school facilities in Tyrrelstown.”

The Motion in the name of Councillor J. Burtchaell was proposed by Councillor J. Burtchaell and seconded by Councillor G. Sheehan. 

The report by the Chief Executive, which had been circulated, was CONSIDERED and following discussion the report was ACCEPTED.
