“That this Council formally requests the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government to include as a matter of urgency schools and community buildings in the exemptions from planning permission for the installation of solar panels that cover less than 50% of the rooftop (which commercial, industrial buildings, etc. all benefit from already).”

The motion, in the name of Councillor K. Power was proposed by Councillor K. Power and seconded by Councillor S. Ó Rodaigh.
