“That this Council calls upon the Chief Executive to identify and provide dedicated funding within the Operations budget to support the setting up and community activity of Tidy Towns groups throughout the County.”

The motion, in the name of Councillor J. Walsh was proposed by Councillor J. Walsh and seconded by Councillor S. Ó Rodaigh.

It was AGREED to take Item No. 39 in conjunction with this item.  The motion in the name of Councillor D. Whooley was proposed by Councillor D. Whooley and seconded by Councillor S. Ó Rodaigh.

Following discussion, the motions were PASSED and it was further AGREED to refer the matter to the Transport and Infrastructure Management SPC.
