Councillor JK Onwumereh - Scheme to Subsidise Cost of Purchasing Electric Vehicles - National Climate Action Plan

“That the Chief Executive considers in furtherance and promotion of the National Climate Action Plan, liaising with the AILG (Association of Irish Local Government) and Government to consider a scheme to subsidise the cost of purchasing new fully electric cars for Council staff and Public Representatives across the County similar to the zero emission Electric Small Public Service Vehicle (SPSV) Grant Scheme for Taxi Drivers.”

The motion, in the name of Councillor JK. Onwumereh was proposed by Councillor JK. Onwumereh and seconded by Councillor T. Kitt.

 

Following discussion, the Mayor instructed that a roll call vote be taken.
