“That this Council adopt a "no mowing" policy in May going forward to bring the area into line with the national "No Mow May" campaign.”

 Insert “in our green open spaces (excluding play pitches and allowing for trimming close to traffic junctions)”

Amended motion to read:

“That this Council adopt a "no mowing" policy in May going forward in our green open spaces (excluding play pitches and allowing for trimming close to traffic junctions) to bring the area into line with the national "No Mow May" campaign.”  

Follow discussion the amended motion was AGREED.
