“That the Chief Executive uses her discretion or explores a policy position for Community Voluntary Groups and Not for Profit organisations, in not charging them for road closure/advertising fees, who are staging local community events, mostly on a shoestring budget with support from this Council, but who are then hit with a substantial bill for road closures/advertising at a significant cost.”

The motion, in the name of Councillor A. Henchy was proposed by Councillor A. Henchy and seconded by Councillor E. O’Brien.

Following discussion, the motion was AGREED.
