“Noting the Fingal housing emergency - the suffering of those on the housing lists; of those struggling with massive rents; and of tenants facing eviction – that this Committee calls on the Housing Manager/ Chief Executive to actively seek to acquire more than the requirements of the Part V Planning and Development Act of 10 or 20 % in future developments and in the case of the major largescale residential developments such as that planned at the Blanchardstown Centre White carpark, to seek to acquire 50% from the developer for social and affordable housing.“
