“That the Chief Executive write to the Minister for Education and the Dublin and Dun Laoghaire Education and Training Board to locate a second special school in this Local Electoral Area dedicated to the education of autistic children.”

The Motion in the name of Councillor J. Walsh was proposed by Councillor J. Walsh and seconded by Councillor M. McCamley 

An amendment was proposed by Councillor J. Walsh and seconded by Councillor M. McCamley. The amendment was deemed in order.

Motion read:

“That the Chief Executive write to the Minister for Education and the Dublin and Dub Laoghaire Education and Training Board to locate a second special school in Dublin 15 dedicated to the education of autistic children and children with complex educational needs”.

Following discussion the Amended Motion was AGREED.
