“That the Chief Executive establishes a pilot project in one of our regional parks, to include measures such as lighting, extended park ranger hours and CCTV, to allow the community the use of our public areas during winter months and encourage walking and cycling, Budget 2025 refers to the ongoing maintenance and upgrade of our roads and public footpaths to encourage the modal shift to cycle and walking continues, this can only be achieved with adequate lighting.”

The motion, in the name of Councillor A. Donnelly was proposed by Councillor A. Donnelly and seconded by Councillor B. Hanaphy.
