“That the Chief Executive provide an update on talks or plans with Saint Michael’s House with respect to re-opening the swimming pool in Baldoyle for the provision of swimming lessons for school children in the Howth/Malahide Area.”

The Motion, in the name of Councillor J. Hopkins, was proposed by Councillor J. Hopkins and seconded by Councillor D. Healy.

The report by the Chief Executive, which had been circulated, was CONSIDERED. 

It was AGREED that Ms. Chloe Farrell, Principal Sports Officer will request a copy of the assessors report and arrange to circulate it to the members on agreement from St. Michaels House.

It was also AGREED to write a letter to the HSE to enquire what the plans are for this facility and issue a copy of this correspondance to St Michaels House and the relevant State Departments responsible for sport, disability, and health.

Following discussion, the motion was AGREED.
