“That this Area Committee recommends the inclusion of the Greater Dublin Area Cycle Network Plan Greenway link between Claremont Road and the West Pier in the Capital Programme.”

The Motion, in the name of Councillor D. Healy, was proposed by Councillor D. Healy and seconded by Councillor J. Hopkins.

The report by the Chief Executive, which had been circulated, was CONSIDERED. 

Ms. Sinead Murphy, Senior Engineer, Climate Action and Active Travel Department introduced the members to Mr. Shane McMorrow, A/Senior Executive Engineer, Climate Action and Active Travel Department who read the report into the record.

Following discussion, it was AGREED the Committee members would bring this matter forward for consideration on the Capital Plan.
