“That the Chief Executive provides an explanation as to why an exploratory meeting dealing with Ongar and Littlepace involving many Council Departments, Foróige and An Garda Síochána was cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice by the Director of Housing and Community who informed me that I was not permitted to use the room that had been booked weeks before and which was confirmed the previous day.”

The Motion in the name of Councillor A. Donnelly was proposed by Councillor A. Donnelly and Seconded by Councillor T. Kitt.

The report by the Chief Executive, which had been circulated, was CONSIDERED and following discussion the report was NOTED.

Councillor J. Burtchaell then raised on a point of order to the chair that he had indicated he wished to second the previous Motion Item No. 36 and this was not noticed by the chair. The chair indicated that she would consider this when the remaining items on the agenda were dealt with.
