“That this Committee strenuously opposes the decision to grant planning permission to global corporation Strategic Value Partners (SVP) to install parking barriers for the purposes of imposing parking charges on workers and users of Blanchardstown Town Centre, this is an anti-working class measure in the teeth of a cost-of-living crisis which will harm footfall in the centre, inevitably worsen the already dire traffic congestion in the area and cause chaos in surrounding estates from displaced parking."

The Motion in the name of Councillor H. Redwood was proposed by Councillor H. Redwood and Seconded by Councillor J. Burtchaell.

The report by the Chief Executive, which had been circulated was CONSIDERED.
