“That the Chief Executive sets out a plan to improve pedestrian safety on Minister's Road either by a commitment to reach out to landowners on this road to start a conversation about developing a plan to build a footpath to the R132 or exploring options whereby better lighting is instated on this stretch of road, waiting until a developer must build a footpath as a condition of a granted planning application is years away, therefore a plan must be put in place in the interim to improve safety for hundreds of pedestrians walking on this road.”

The motion in the name of Councillor Dockrell was proposed by Councillor Dockrell and  seconded by Councillor Mulville.   

The report by the Chief Executive, which had been circulated, was CONSIDERED and following discussion the motion was PASSED.
