“That this Committee unequivocally commits the Council to the delivery of a Local Area Plan for Meakstown that:

(1) Delivers essential facilities and services for residents' benefit, while mitigating negative impacts from the rapidly growing foreign national community.

(2) Prohibits all further Large-scale Residential Developments under the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended), to avoid infrastructure overload and identity erosion.”
