“That the Chief Executive provide an update on the new Malahide taxi rank and loading bay and arrange for additional enforcement through parking wardens and work with An Garda Síochána, regarding the parking of private cars in the loading bay/taxi rank, and to consider additional signage/road markings to make the loading bay/taxi rank more obvious to the public.”

The motion, in the name of Councillor C. Haughey was proposed by Councillor C. Haughey and seconded by Councillor E. O'Brien.

The report was read into the record by Ben O’Regan, Executive Engineer. 

Following discussion, it was agreed that Ben would liaise with An Garda Síochána in relation to issuing fines after the warden hours.
