Councillor C. Johnston - Provision of Not-for-Profit Community Childcare Facilities

“That this Council recommends that "Not-for-Profit" Community Childcare facilities, to include early childhood education and care, be provided in all mixed tenure developments on publicly owned lands in Fingal given the demographics and tenure of such developments, and the need for these facilities to be provided to support young and struggling families moving into newly developed housing estates."

The motion, in the name of Councillor C. Johnston was proposed by Councillor C. Johnston and seconded by Councillor J. Walsh.

 

During discussion, Councillor C. Johnston clarified the motion was to “recommend” only.

 

The motion was AGREED.
