“That this Council calls upon the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to introduce an amendment to the Planning and Development Act for 'a use it or lose it' clause, requiring housing to be commenced within three years of securing planning permission and revoking planning permission from applicants where sites remain inactive after this three-year period.”

The motion, in the name of Councillor J. Walsh was proposed by Councillor J. Walsh and seconded by Councillor M. McCamley.
