“That the Chief Executive provide an update on the safety of the location of the lifeguard at Burrow beach, the safety for swimming with regards to the exposed pipe and the general plan for safety, parking, a one-way system and cleaning for the summer months.”

The Motion, in the name of Councillor J. Hopkins was proposed by Councillor J. Hopkins and seconded by Councillor C. Haughey.

On behalf of Fingal County Council, Karen expressed deepest condolences to the family of Abbie Carmody-Pepper on their recent loss.

The Report was read into the record by Karen Gallagher, Senior Engineer.

Following discussion, Karen confirmed that all feedback from the meeting will be reported back to the Water Safety Authority.
