“That the Chief Executive, in light of the tragic loss of life at Burrow Beach, request an immediate safety audit of the beaches and bathing facilities in this Local Electoral Area with the aim of increasing the lifeguard provision beyond its current timeframe to include full provision during May and June in light of shift in seasonal patterns.”

The Motion in the name of Councillor Smyth was proposed by Councillor Smyth and seconded by Councillor Corkery. 

The report by the Chief Executive, which had been circulated, was read and CONSIDERED and following discussion the report was ACCEPTED
