The minutes of the Community, Sports and Culture SPC meeting held on the 18^th September, 2025 which were circulated were CONSIDERED.  

It was PROPOSED by Councillor Tom Kitt and seconded by Councillor Angela Donnelly and AGREED:  “That the minutes of the meeting of 18^th September, 2025 be ADOPTED and APPROVED.”? 

Verbal updates provided by Paul Carroll (Director of Services) and John Quinlivan (Director of Services) were NOTED. Following discussion, it was AGREED that Early Childhood Education and Care would form part of the 2026 SPC Work Programme. 

An update on the Fingal Public Arts Strategy was presented by Sarah O’Neill, County Arts Officer and Caroline Crowley, Deputy Arts Officer.

Following discussion, the presentation was NOTED. 

Owen McGrath, Senior Sports Officer and David Storey, Director of Services provided a Sports Group Funding presentation.

Following discussion, the presentation was NOTED and it was AGREED to bring the matter to the  Full Council.   

Owen McGrath, Senior Sports Officer referenced a presentation by Choe Farrell, Senior Sports Officer, at the Community, Sports and Culture SPC on the 11^th December 2024, that outlined the review of the Sports Equipment Grants. It was added that the presentation was noted and grant scheme agreed at the SPC meeting on the 11^th December, 2024 meeting but this not recorded in the minutes so it was necessary to note the presentation again and agree the content of same.   

Following discussion the presentation was NOTED, and it was AGREED to bring the matter to the Full Council.
